Inspect the existing drain body and surrounding pan area to ensure clean integration, keeping the existing drain assembly intact.
Apply appropriate polymer-modified thinset mortar bed pitched properly toward the central drain to maintain proper drainage slope.
Install approximately 25 sq ft of new porcelain floor tile over the prepared shower base, cutting precisely around the perimeter edges, curb transitions, and the circular center drain.
Allow mortar to cure, then mix and apply high-performance grout across all tile joints over the 25 sq ft shower floor, ensuring all grout lines are fully packed and uniform.
Clean tile faces with a sponge to eliminate haze, and apply matching 100 percent silicone sealant along the entire floor-to-wall and floor-to-curb perimeter expansion joints.
Reinstall and securely fasten the existing shower drain cover.
